Scary Mommy said Yes

"I'm thankful I can tell my boys they were created out of love. For everything else to be wrong, I know that to be true."

It is such an honor to be published by Scary Mommy. I’ve followed these women writers since the earliest days of my motherhood journey and to be included with them is a dream come true.

This piece is something I wrote a couple months ago and wasn’t sure how comfortable I felt about sharing it. So, I sent it to Scary Mommy editors and if they rejected it, I would work on it and save it for later. I’ve submitted writing to them in the past and wasn’t picked up, so I wasn’t expecting much. And then they accepted it. And a dance party with my Turtles ensued.

I cry every time I read this one. I’ll always be thankful Matt and I were able to create our boys together. Our children have been showered with love since the moment they were known and that’ll never change. Always and forever, it’ll never stop.

And if you’re on Facebook, check out the Scary Mommy, It’s Personal page to read, learn, and relate to the women who wear many hats.
